  • Before we jump into tactics, today is about understanding why this plan matters. 

    Then take a few minutes to reflect:

    • What marketing worked well for you last year?

    • What felt unsustainable or inconsistent?

    • Where do you want more clarity or structure this year?

  • Defining marketing goals that are specific, attainable, and measurable.

    • On the first tab, list 3 marketing goals for the year

    • Identify your top 3 content types or marketing tactics

    • Define how often you’ll realistically execute each

  • When you know where your time and money are going, it’s easier to stay intentional and adjust as needed.

    Today’s Tasks (~15–20 minutes)

    Today’s Focus: Creating a realistic marketing budget and identifying what you’ll track.

    • Start by reviewing Slides 22–25 of the Annual Marketing Plan Guidebook.

    • Open your Annual Planning Template (you should have your own copy bookmarked from Day 1)!

    • Add an estimated annual or monthly marketing budget.

    • Allocate your budget breakdown utilizing the help of our ai prompt on slide 24!

  • Reviewing and activating your plan.

    • Start by reviewing Slides 26-30 of the Annual Marketing Plan Guidebook.

    • Review your “completed” Annual Planning Template (your own copy, bookmarked from Day 1!)

    • Identify one immediate marketing action you can take this week.

    • Decide when you’ll revisit your plan (monthly or quarterly) and set aside time to do so.
